Kimchi Fried Rice

If you are prepared and have the ingredients handy, this is an easy recipe to complete for a great meal.
Add meat if desired (tuna/sausage/ham/bacon/spam)
Prepare entire meal over medium heat (depending on your stovetop)

Equipment

  • bowls
  • scissors
  • frying pan
  • measuring cup
  • spatula turner

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 2 cups sour kimchi
  • 5 whole eggs
  • 2 cups cooked rice sushi/sticky
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 can meat optional
  • 1/4 cup cheese optional
  • ? tbsp crumbled seaweed if desired

Instructions

  • Cut meat into small pieces, fry to your desired preference, remove from pan and set aside
    1 can meat
  • In a bowl cut kimchi into small pieces
    2 cups sour kimchi
  • Scramble eggs in a frying pan with oil, then remove from pan and set aside
    2 tbsp canola oil, 5 whole eggs
  • In the frying pan, add 2 more tbsp's of canola oil, add chopped kimchi and sugar, stir well till no longer soggy
    2 cups sour kimchi, 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp canola oil
  • To the frying pan, add cooked rice (sticky/sushi rice), stir together
    2 cups cooked rice
  • Now add the previously cooked eggs to the pan, stir together
  • Add meat to pan and mix in if you chose to use this ingredient
    1 can meat
  • Leave it for a couple of minutes then turn off the heat
  • Sprinkle cheese/crumbled seaweed on top if desired
    1/4 cup cheese, ? tbsp crumbled seaweed
